Hello! My name is Joy Wichgers. I am a Catholic graphic designer in Madison WI. As a faithful creative I strive to make beautiful designs that effectively lead hearts and minds to Christ. Even secular designs are prayerfully made with love and consideration. 

Growing up, I loved drawing and painting. My favorite subjects were from nature: Birds, dinosaurs, dragons. Those sources of inspiration have grown to include figures, places I visit, and anything I need for my designs. If I can help it, I will draw or photograph everything in a design. The more a design is made by my own hands, the better. 

My primary design skills are in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I specialize in illustration, painting, and portraiture. I’ve dabbled in photography, motion design, and screen printing.

When I’m not drawing or working on a design, you may find me with friends, tending to my garden, or just watching my favorite shows.
