Luke House serves the homeless community in the downtown Madison area by serving dinners every week. The dinners are primarily staffed by volunteers from church communities and rely on donations.
They need to get the word out on what days they need volunteers. They also needed an update to their style and logo. Being a community care organization with Cristian roots, they needed something simple while still reflecting their values
I used browns and oranges for a down-to-earth feel, while still promoting action. I used relevant images with subtle texture and overlay effects to visualize the mission without being too flashy. Inspired by their Christian identity, I made a logo using the Christian symbols of fish and bread. A nod to both Jesus and the feeding of the 5,000.
